Ah! He was so glad she hadn't responded poorly despite his, well, complete and utter social faux pas. In fact, she seemed to take their collision surprising well, something that caught him even more off guard than their initial...encounter. In any case, he took that moment of surprise to straighten himself up and preen himself just enough to look presentable. "Ah! Yes! Liquid Amber! Excuse me for not having known your proper name...you know...you meet so many wolves, it gets tricky." In reality, he had just been a terrible listener. Nonetheless, one charming grin lead to another and he was stumbling over his words in an effort to try and find the right way to put it. In the end, he simply sighed to collect himself, offering her a bow of his head: "I heard you're the woman to come to if you have a message to send or an errand to run." He leaned back on his paws then, blowing his cheeks out a little with uncertainty as to what to say next. Like a waterfall, words just seemed to pour out: "But! I haven't the slightest clue what I ought to do in exchange! You know? Nobody ever mentions that! Go to Liquid Amber, they say, she has her ways! But what kind of payment do you take? Hah! Nobody mentions that!" His eyes widened with exclamation, his words seemingly endless - truly, it gave away his youth. If his childish face hadn't been a warning then certainly his tendency to just...fill silence was. Then with a great sigh, he eased back to be seated and flashed her another toothy grin. "So, I guess you could say I was trying to find you so we could strike a deal." Multiple deals maybe. He was curious to see where this could go. |
