Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

i will be your demise

An ear flickered at a sound she allowed it to strain and keep track of it but she continued to watch the waves crash on the shore. She wasn’t ready to decide what she wished for these moments she simply was a moment in existence. Words even the softly asked fell harshly on her mind and she twisted her head with a snarl ripping from her throat turning slightly into more of a growl standing now; she made great strides to the girl with a slightly long, open lower to the ground gait more akin to that of hunting. She left her maw parted happily displaying her teeth to the girl.

She stood a mere wolfs length away from her now and she glared coldly to her her growl stifled for now. She stares deeply at the creature as though she was trying to bore into her flesh with just her eyes before taking the time to snap her attention back to a sense of normality as she watched peered around and used her ears wisely before speaking to the stranger; “Looking.” It was quite obvious what she was doing but the better questions perhaps would be why or what was being looked for but that was not her questions so no more words on the matter filled the air from Sekhmet at least.

Sekhmet had noticed her coat color and it itched a little but right now her mind wandered elsewhere. She growled at the girl once more snapping out at her muzzle before turning her body away and moving back to her previous spot on the sandy beach. It was a warning clear and fair if the girl chose to follow her it was at her own discretion and she now should understand the risks of her company. She called out to her after a moment of staring at the shoreline remembering the sharp rebuke for treading near to the water she decided against her wiser nature as to why the girl wanted to know; “Why. You?” Maybe it was few and far between who understood her but if this girl wishes to be a companion she would need to learn swiftly.

you're going to love it, i promise
