Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece

And now you're tearing through the pages and the ink

Litha wasn’t afraid of the fires summer had brought she only wished for her father's affection. She was was small but clever and cunning even though she was still so very young and small. Litha despised the knowledge she was smaller than other pups she growls inwardly deciding to disappear from the moors for a little while her claws slashed into the softened white earth almost longing for it to be her siblings perhaps even her father for not loving her but she hung her head unsure of how to gain his affection.

Her fur was short but think enough the cold didn’t agitate her more than need be. She pounced over the small white drifts. Outside of the home, she didn’t have to be so serious and she could allow herself to stretch out and feel every muscle she could run and play here. If she was quiet enough she swore that she could hear the snow falling. Perhaps she was very conflicted but at least out here she had no one with expectations of what she should be. Then again she didn’t actually see anyone out here.

She bound running freely on her healed paw darting through the trees and finding a fallen log. Litha pushed off of the earth in an attempt to make herself a perch and pleasantly enough she didn’t stumble and actually for once looked graceful at something. She dug her nose into the snow smelling and clinging to the log, she was a light weight and if anyone or anything dove into her she would likely fall into the snowy blanket below.
