I didn't miss the scent of him. I knew it was him soon as it came into the borders and I was on the move as quickly as I could. I wondered if he was here to challenge him. He had this pack once, but I worried too. I don't want anyone fucking with my plans to get Lazarus out Aranck's eye. Slowly I was trying to ease my way closer to the old prince, he was the only reason I was here, to keep him safe to protect him. Everyone else left him to die but not me... I was here. Pine was gone and Halcyon left when Aithne had taken over, part of me blamed him for all this. But I also knew he could help. Why didn't I just step up? Well I was small despite being spicy and if they found out what I really wanted well he might just take it away. I was surprised enough he kept Laz alive at all if what I think happened happened. It wasn't peaceful! I knew it wasn't Aithne was dead and that bastard was here because he raped someone! How could anyone just sit well with any of this! I knew my dad didn't. He was like me, biding my time waiting to see what happened and keep those who remained as safe as they could.

The cover of night was nice at least. I run towards his scent knowing he's getting deep into Iromar territory. Worse comes to worse I will chace him out myself to earn a little bloody trust with the Traitor. Or make it look that way. I would do whatever I had to to keep him safe and it says more for everyone who ran. They should have known better! But I guess perhaps I was the closest to Laz and Pine and Halcyon mostly served Aithne and not him. I did too! I might not have been official, but I damn still will try my hardest to show I cared about them as much if not more than the older wolves who made rank before me.

I might be large, but my father's grace was with me, my black paws carrying me as swiftly as I could. I am over half grown now, a lot larger since the 'King' Halcyon had seen me, as well as the 'Royal Guard' one. No longer was I a little girl with a big attitude, I was a growing girl with an even larger one that had a lot of rage to get out. I come from the shadows, stepping forths to block his path, perhaps it is then I notice I am nearly, if not as big as him now. My hackles raise and my white daggers bare almost glowing in teh night. Perhaps that and my bright orange eyes are all he can see of me. I feel no love for Aranck, but Halcyon risks stripping away the one thing I am here for. If he gets mad, thinks that the 'old lineage' is proving a thread he will likely want to be rid of it further. Lazarus is so pathetic I doubt it would be more than a playing card to him. A bargaining chip used against those like Halcyon. I can see it.

"Get out before you get Lazarus killed." I say with a low growl hissing the words under my breath. I care not for my safety or his. He probably doesn't see it like I do, he probably is maybe even here to help, but all I can see is a million ways this can go wrong. I take a step forward my form prickling all the larger. I worry soon Aranck will come, I will not appear buddy buddy with Halcyon for coming so blindly here for that reason. I have my own goals and ways, and getting closer to the wolf who now calls himself king may be the only way now. If he wants to get to Aranck he will have to challenge him or at least find a way to make sure Lazarus is safe too.

They all left him to die. I don't care if it wasn't intentional, but that rage... it was there. My posture does not, nor will not soften, I will listen to his words but I will not appear to care... even if I really do. This is all for the greater good.
