Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It had been far too long since she had last seen him and yet she couldn't help but burrow further into the den making as hidden a fortress as she could away from the prying eyes of others the burning to rip them out sickened yet entertained her when she wasn’t haunted by memories and dark dreams. She was angry even now she barred and gnashed her teeth in silence alone. She could no longer hunt for extra meals for the whelps as now it went to nourish her own offspring which had grown large, even larger than her previous season and she grew fiercer now that she knew eyes kept appearing here and there. She was no alpha but this was her place of comfort and she marked it clearly so warning other to stay away from her. This was no safe haven for a weary traveler.

A curious scent on the icy breeze penetrates the air, so familiar and so foreign to her. She thought it to be that of her mother or perhaps her father come to haunt her despite her distance from her birthing den across the entire packs furthest reaches. A snarl resonates deep within her chest as she lunges from her hiding spot snapping at anything within reach, be it a muzzle, cheek, or even air she was trying to drive the wolf far from the entrance to secure her escape for even she wouldn’t sacrifice the offspring that she carried even for a den she claimed to be her own.

Enya stood before her sister lowering her head to cover her throat her tail curling its best around her swollen abdomen taking a step back from Ravenna’s forum. Her eyes were glazed and she gave a look of confusion to the woman before her and yet the forum of her parents danced about her sister in a transparency only Enya seemed to acknowledge. Her snapping jaws went for the air around her sister on either side until they vanished from sight. She backed away cautiously a growl rumbling deeply within her throat as a warning. “What…What are you doing here? Do you not see them?” Her questions mumbled and rushed getting overpowered by her growling yet shrinking forum.
