Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He has grown into himself, that much is obvious. He no longers seems to bow beneath the weight of uncertainty but rather, he stands as an equal to any other diplomat in these lands. Solaris has taught him well or, perhaps, there is a merit to him that went unnoticed by my old companion. I wonder, then, if he has been left alone by Solaris since his devotion to that wicked woman, Siren. In an case, I am not surprised they sent him. He stands confident, assured and indeed, as a good testament to Taviora's progress in these last several seasons since Amoxtli's incident.

I am not surprised then when he brings up such an incident. I nod sympathetically though I am intrigued by his mention of Zelda and Hyrule's...unusual terms of endearment? In any case, I cannot help but allow a brow to rise in curiosity. "I had been under the impression that Zelda had been much of the ruling these days," it is an idle observation and I am sure to indicate it as such, my shoulders giving the smallest of shrugs. Perhaps I have been wrong and yet, it had been my impression during my time spent with my children there. I wonder who is the one pulling the strings.

In any case, he is prompt to move on, something I glad for. I nod slowly, considering all that has happened up until this point. I suppose it is most logical for an alliance to occur between Taviora and Glorall. I consider it in silence for several short moments before I nod again, this time sharply, with only a small request. "Outline your terms, Alistair, and it shall be." I must admit that I am eager to move him along. I have other matters to attend to and...this is surely a good thing but I am not hoping to waste away speaking of diplomacy when I intend to break it soon enough.
