He hardly had time to react. As their eyes met it felt as if his heart stopped, then continued beating at a different rhythm. But before he could say anything, his teeth met the flesh of her neck and he pulled her to the ground. She was strong, taller than him, but he felt stronger. Jaeger could feel her rage, her violence, coursing through his veins. It was a confusing feeling because he knew that the emotions were not his own, but they felt like his. The male knew what this was, it had happened with Semele, but the girl had been so sweet and kind that it hadn't made him feel much different at all. And that had been... before.

But like moments before, Jaeger didn't have the time to stop and think, to consider what had happened. He growled, and it seemed as though the sound hadn't even come from him. What had this woman done to him? Made a monster out of him? She aimed for the red of his chest, but desperation made her clumsy. The male wrapped his powerful jaws around her scruff, holding her mere inches away from his chest, blood and drool dripping from his mouth and coagulating in her fur. This was not who he was but who she had forced him to be, and perhaps it was the piece that she had put inside of him but he liked feeling strong. He liked knowing that he had control.

His tail raised, almost unbidden, his grey-tinged fur bristling. "Stop that." Jaeger growled through the flesh and fur, not biting hard enough to break the skin, but hard enough for the pressure to be uncomfortable and hold her in place. Although she had come at him with aggression and still did, he did not want to hurt her. He only wanted to show her that he was strong too. His paws braced against the ground and his grip tightened slightly. Desperation might have made her clumsy but it also made her willing to do anything to get what she wanted... his life? He was unsure.

"What's wrong with you? You are my imprint and you are still trying to kill me." His violet eyes narrowed. "I don't understand."
