Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

i will be your demise

The winter was slowly sheathing its teeth, the sun rose to meet her this day instead of rising at dawn she lifted her head slowly and withdrew herself from the warmth and comfort of the den. She shook her head ever so slightly. The howl on the air had spoken of change some time ago but it mattered little to her, she was here to protect her own. She didn’t feel the need to spend an extensive amount of time with the stranger but perhaps that would change, the future wasn’t certain. Still, she was certain it would change, the old become weak and die. Dark One permitted Teacher to live and she supposed she didn’t mind as Teacher had not treated her poorly.

Snow still clung to the ground and in some places created a slick in the grass. She stretched out and made her way down paths mostly hidden that on her and her company tread. She moved towards the bay and make her way down the grassy slopes and onto the sand at the bottom. She hears the lapping of waves it wasn’t like the place she met the strange woman but it was similar even familiar enough. Her paw pads bury themselves ever so slightly into the sand before taking greater strides to the water. The stranger had spoken of currents and such and it left her to wonder how it differed here.

Sekhmet stopped at the water's edge and gazed at the shiny trinkets just a little ways from the sand. The water closest to the shore was foamy yet she was intrigued by what was just out of her grasp. She thought of her companion and the visit to the mountains. She shook her head and growled her displeasures to herself as she turned away from the water's edge, perhaps she should explore and even finding her brother could be worth some value perhaps or maybe even something worth sinking her teeth into she cared little for which. Right now she simply didn’t wish to be near anyone or anything that reminded her of the mountains.

Her mind had closed itself off refusing to direct her since that day but her limbs carried her far away from the grasslands. She slipped through the woodlands without a second thought until the scent of fresh blood hit her like a barrier. The valley and its open land had remained only a few meters away from here something was bleeding perhaps another wolf or another creature altogether but her gaze narrowed and her ears listened with such sensitivity she managed to capture the sound of labored breathing, gasps and pants choked the air barely audible but it was closer than she had anticipated.

The she-wolf's paw steps were as close to silent as any wolf could possibly be as her eyes zeroed in on a slight twitching form on the grass. It could have gone unnoticed as a log if the metallic scent didn’t stain it so, a doe was unfortunate enough to be caught in labor. She was small this was likely her first fawning Sekhmet was almost certain but it mattered little. Using a powerful wall of muscle she surged forward, the startled doe trying to spring into flight only to be met with teeth and the bodice of the multicolored female.

Sekhmet’s teeth sank deeply into the wide-eyed, does throat; hooves tried in desperation to kick her off landing harshly against her rib at a point before her mind decided against its struggle and a deep rage swelled within her. Sekhmet shook her head wildly chewing the ripping of flesh and the muted cry of the doe had fallen to silence in moments after blood splattered against the white of her cheek and the black go her muzzle. The creatures struggle ended throat falling limp from her jaws and back to the earth.

Sekhmet maneuvered herself to the doe’s abdomen, a deep growl rumbling in her chest before a cold snarl ripped through the air. Keen ears listened as she ripped into her meal it would be a fantastic feast. Her muzzle and chest entered the bloodbath without hesitation taking as she began. The earth was silent other than the rumbling growls of pleasure and warning rolled through her chest as she enjoyed her not so hard earned rewards. Only the foolish or brave would try and approach her during her meal.

OOC Note: Smaller wolves such as pups & yearlings are less likely to be attacked. She will try attack you if you annoy or anger her. You will more than likely be threatened no matter what.
