She sauntered in rather slowly, but her original pace had been hurried, if not a bit clumsy. She was a bit dirty, with leaves in her fur and mud on her paws. She had left Taviora in a rush, just after telling her father the news. It crushed him, just as much as it crushed her. She saw a little part of him die just like how she did, saw how his eyes lost light for just a moment. It was hard telling him, harder telling him that he should tell the boys and collect them. She knew they were safe with him, that he would be gentle in explaining in what had happened. Their father though, she would be telling him, he deserved to know as much as anyone of Taviora, and it wouldn’t have been long anyway before he came back to see the boys.
Now that she was here, she was exhausted but her resolve and her sadness kept her moving. She hadn’t rested the whole way here, she couldn’t, and she guessed that it would be days before she would get any peaceful rest. Right now though sleep was far from her mind. Eden, she needed to find him. Tell him. She wanted to do it personally. After all they were… something, but she was the mother, he the father it only felt right that she say it. It would look worse if she didn’t and while he wasn’t exactly normal he still brought some kind of comfort to her. It wasn’t like Lucero, Eden and him were like night and day, but still he did something to help her. Even if she wasn’t exactly sure what he could do now anything, anything to take away how her chest hurt, how helpless and angry she felt.
It was different when you knew. Lucero, Midna, Scarlett they were wandering yet she knew they were out there alive most likely. This finality that she would never see her baby girl again, it was so hard to bear. She followed Eden’s scent across the lands, seeking out where he was. Part of her hoped she would not be disturbing anything important, the other didn’t care. He needed to know this above anything else, but then she wondered what he would do, how he would feel. Would he want to kill Aranck? Would he be angry at her and her family? She didn’t know what she could have done to stop her or him.
Placing it all aside the female finally spotted the grey and white male. ”Eden!” Her voice clearly was distressed if it wasn’t already obvious by her visage. Her eyes were already watering as she stopped before him looking him right in his copper eyes. It hurt to look at him, and terrified her. Her heart already ached enough yet it was racing in her chest. ”It’s Moteuh, she’s been killed.” She wasn’t going to beat around the bush, even though she nearly choked on her own words. She wanted to get it off her chest and to him as soon as she could. Saying it though made her gasp before looking to her muddied white paws and crying uncontrollably. She wanted to keep herself under control, but she was never good at that, especially not with something this horrible.
