She was getting bolder, but it wasn’t her own boldness she carried with her not today. Soma had imprinted, and that gave her a confidence that wasn’t her own, made her feel she could move, could do things she once thought impossible. It wasn’t because she thought Vladdy would come and help her, more that she could feel his power in him. It made the girl feel strong believe she was strong, just as she made her imprint have a taste of emotions, fear, he had empowered her the opposite way. She was still worried, scared even, but she was working on managing it right now as she finished crossing through Enocra and into a completely new open area. It was something she never felt before. Never in her whole life did she feel so…. Free.
She climbed up rocks, her tail waving and a smile on her face. Was this how Masque felt all the time!? Being able to fly and jump and leap. Yes fear gripped her but it didn’t hold her still like it usually did, it wasn’t so paralyzing that she could barely breath. She didn’t think about the scars on her flanks, her past to which she didn’t remember. Not everyone was bad, not everyone was evil and out to hurt her. Soma had always tried to believe that but it had always been impossible until now.
She paused though and her heart skipped a beat when she heard a voice not far away. Usually that alone would send her running. Today she was curious and wanted to see who it was. She was still a bit nervous. She wasn’t good with others and so she moved forward over the rocks spotting the bridled male just after he said something. ”H-hello?” She couldn’t stop her bit of a nervous nature from coming out. Her tail gave a few timid waves peaking over the rocks at him with her garnet red and gold eyes.
He wasn’t super big right? Just six inches bigger than her, certainly nowhere close to Vladimir or her father. ”I’m Soma, who are you? Who were you talking too?” She asked looking around and seeing no one else there. Soma was a little uncertain but she didn’t walk right up to the stranger she stood a bit back still behind some rocks. She was certainly more confident but she wasn’t going to just walk up to a stranger.
