Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Inara
I can be your ray of light
but I might leave you blind

Inara’s ears flicked back and forward once more offering a small wag of her own tail. She hadn’t expected to meet friendly company at this hour, most wolves she met were rather distant and not very kind yet it was a comforting sensation. The boy smelt much like the forest perhaps he lived here although she knew of a forest pack but had never been herself. She shifted slightly on black tipped paws looking at him before he spoke once more. “You would let me stay? It would only be for the evening and I would repay the kindness as well as I could should you ever venture to the seashore. I am certain a guest like you would be welcomed there.” She encouraged.

She moved to step towards him hearing a thud almost akin to that of a hoof stamping into the earth. She flinched as the golden mass broke through the trees, it had missed the male as it seems and her eyes widened as it seemed to focus on her. A soft wine escaped her muzzle at the display she needed to help him. Her whine turned into a snarl snapping out harshly at its front paw cautious of being too close to the massive claws. It was such an unfortunate night for things. She snapped once more towards the creature trying to bid the boy enough time to free himself from his situation. “We must run!” she exclaimed with shaky tones.

She moved further the sinking feeling growing in the pit of her stomach. “I will get help.” She whined softly and sprinted as quickly as she could to the forest pack. She had to get help, she had to save the boy who was risking his life for her own. It was all distant noise now but she hoped fate would be on the side of the dark pelted boy and not the golden creature out for blood. The massive beast was truly a beautiful horrendous site to behold.
