He only had good memories of their childhood and Samia and he were once inseparable. They were both close to their parents. He enjoyed Natu's stories and he admired Fenrir for how much he loved his mom and how well he took care of his family. He always made sure they had food and shelter and he kept them all protected, no matter what. He was glad to know they went out together. He knew they wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Maybe some day he would find a love like that. But until then, he would enjoy his time with friends and family. He had time to make up for, after all. He knew that the whole incident with the river traumatized Samia but he was hoping over time, it would have faded some. She lives in a beach pack land, after all. There's kind of water everywhere. But if she still wasn't so fond of water, maybe that was something he could help with. Sure, it was scary when it happened but he wasn't going to let a little drowning incident stop him from having fun. He would spend time with Samia and show her there was nothing to be afraid of.
He was glad that she had found something she enjoyed doing. If plants and herbs was what she wanted to deal with for the rest of her life then more power to her. He would support her in anything. She teased him about learning by doing but then said she would look out for him since he didn't want to learn. He smirked. He could always just HECKLE her about the plants anyway. That would be as good a learning tool as any, right?
"I COUNT MYSELF AS ONE LUCKY PUP TO HAVE A SISTER LIKE YOU, SAMIA. I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WOULD HAVE MY BACK. OH, AND A WARNING IF IT TASTES NASTY WOULD BE NICE, TOO."
He gave her a playful wink as he tried to butter her up with compliments. Thor always liked to boost her confidence any chance he got. She told me that she was training with someone but that they were gone now. She admitted the ranks she wanted to earn and his eyes began to glow with pride. It was hard to believe just a few years back they were racing around the beaches, daring each other to go faster and didn't have a care in the world. Now his sister was going to be a head honcho healer some day and he had no doubts that she would get what she wanted. She was bound to. She was amazing. She told him that she was getting herbs ready so that she could do a task to earn a rank.
"THAT'S GREAT, SIS, REALLY. GUESS WHO'S ASKING TO BE A BLADE IN GLORALL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE? THAT'S RIGHT. YOU'RE GOING TO BE RELATED TO A GUARDIAN OF GLORALL, SOON ENOUGH. I PLAN ON BEING BADASS, YOU KNOW."
He grinned and held his head up a little higher, hoping she'd be proud of him too. He had pretty much already answered her question about whether he was staying but he didn't mind reiterating. His expression softened when he caught the change in her demeanor. He wanted to tell her not to worry, that he wasn't looking to lose her again either. He nodded.
"YEAH, GLORALL IS MY HOME AND I DON'T EXPECT THAT TO CHANGE ANYTIME SOON. BESIDES, WHO WOULD LOOK AFTER YOU?
He smirked, using his paw to flick a little dust up toward her in play, his tail wagging.
