Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Masque

Life was wonderful! It was beautiful, exhilarating, and magical! The summer sun warmed the world around them, filling her body with a gentle heat she expelled breathily through her maw as she ran. Lilac eyes glittered in the light. Her pink tongue rolled out of her mouth when for once she stopped moving to simply observe the world around her.

Two years old an\
d the pup had the world at her pawtips! Finally, so long as she returned to her mother’s side before nightfall, she could explore as she pleased! The gypsy princess took the privilege and literally ran with it. Her creamy tan legs stretched to their fullest as they carried her through the forests and over the fields of Moladion. Shadowy gray body moved with ease, bouncing and dancing whimsically with no sensible pattern to her movements. Anywhere the wind took her was where her body floated. Even to the cracked landscape of the crags. They would not have been her normal atmosphere, but even this fairly desolate place had its secrets and wonders to behold.

Masque padded happily over the rocks. Each fissure in the earth warranted an investigation of exploration. Within each crack there was sure to be a world she had yet to discover. Creatures and things her eyes had never laid eyes on lurked just below the surface, the squeaking and scratching of mice only confirmed their knowledge and the secrets she could not share. Her ears were perked at a particularly loud family she tried yapping at to see if they would speak to her. She could feel their beady eyes look at her before scuttling away back into the sheltering shadows. Masque whined for a second before moving on in her adventure.

Once more the wind shifted, bringing with it the scent of a wolf. Excited, she jumped into swift movement once more! Her voice raised in a friendly greeting filled with chattering yips. Hello! she called out as she raced forward. Before she could run into the strange wolf, she checked herself (which was honestly a first) and slid to a halt in front of him in a graceful and point perfect play bow. My name is Masque! Princess of gypsies and fairy kings! And you are ‘it!’ Her back legs launched her body forward at him, her mouth open and tongue rolling in a way her playful nature could not be mistaken for aggression. Whether she touched him or not, she figured he would be ‘it’ anyway. After all, she declared it. It would not be his task to seek out the next player he or they met! After all, life was a game, and that game was tag!

Take off your mask, the world will see...
Tonight we'll hide from judging eyes. We'll dance until Sunrise.
