Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Out my claws flash with the intent to split, to render, to slaughter! The foolish barking girl will cease her loud antics once I rid her of that muzzle. Yet she flinched back in time to avoid most of my strike but I can feel the way her flesh opens beneath the sharpness of my knives. I yowl suddenly when pain pierces the back of my leg, teeth snapping through the tender flesh there, and I turn upon Senketsu as if he is to blame. I don't yet realize that it is not he that bites me on my back leg. My fury is swift and just as he digs teeth into my shoulder. The snap of his leg is satisfactory and my blood pulses in time to the scent of so much fresh blood and the pain that suddenly flared within me. My fluid, feline body twists now so my yellow eyes spy the newcomer.

He drags back and I dip down, almost loosing my footing. A flash of fur and another wolfess joins while Koi hounds me from the side. I hiss at them. I snarl. I twist and scream in rage when their bites leave pain in me. I know that against two I was the better adversary but these three have me at a disadvantage and I would not be eating the broken boy tonight. I jolt around, twisting my leg from his grasp and attempting to swipe at his face even as I feel Koi and Aurai bite me. Then I leap up and over, using the small gap I've driven to rush away from them.

Into the night to nurse my wounds and my empty belly.

My wicked grace has failed me tonight and like a cyclone I came and left, but this time empty handed.
