Singe
something deep, dark, and mysterious.
It was a clear blue day. The fields were tall and still green. The shadow and monster do not come around anymore. Nor does anyone else he knew. There were all gone- disappeared as if they never existed. He was left all alone. He was used to the company of Lonhro, and without him he often felt lost. It was an odd feeling and one he did not quite understand how to process.
He simply lay outside in the grass from the den he used to share with so many. It was empty. Gone. What used to breath life was now but stale air. This had been the place he lived for so long, and he knew this as the place where he slept. So he kept sleeping here. New wolves, new leaders, they came to the fields. He watched and he listened. He wanted to stay where he slept, and there seemed to be no threat to him thus far. But they were not like the others that once were here. They were different, and he did not yet feel like he did before.
His red eyes with fading yellow, and green flecks, looked blankly into the tall green before him. He wondered what had become of them all after so long. He wondered if he should go visit the female in the wood. He shifted his weight uncomfortably. He didn't know what to do with himself or with the irritated energy pent up in his body. He growled softly as he flopped on his back. He only remain that way for a moment before sitting up. The sun had not yet reached peak sky. He jumped to his feet, and started moving with purpose west. He would go find the female in the woods. He felt she would have answers for him. He did not understand why or how, but he did not question it. He simply went on his instinct as he moved forward from the middle of the pack land towards the borders.
