The shore was perfect. The cave was high enough so that the tide couldn’t reach it, but at the same time, when the waves went a little high, she’d feel the spray on her face from it. The warmth of the sun on her bones felt good, She was getting up there in age and the heat of the sun’s rays made the aches go away. But her heart, while it was at peace here on the shore of Asteraia. She was missing Panzer. Silly, yes, but she had felt something when she was around him it was hard to describe. She didn’t know what the feeling was per-say, but it made her happier than she had ever been in her life. Now, if only she could make heads or tails of what that feeling was, then she’d be more open to it.
Laying in the mouth of the den, her white face towards the sun, her eyes slid shut as she let the warmth of the rays wake her up more. She wondered what Panzer’s duties were taking him to do most of the time, but she knew he had duties, and she knew that she had no real need for him to be here, other than her own -wanting him here with her. But she couldn’t be selfish. She was at least luculent in her thoughts about that. she knew she couldn’t lean on him for everything, but she missed his presence, she missed his everything. Her breath sighed as she relaxed in the warmth of the sun.
And then it was as if she had sent a silent call to him, his scent began to grow stronger, and then, there was his voice calling out her name. Her white and red head lifted, galaxy eyes looking out as she turned her head towards the sound of his voice. A smile blossomed across her face as she watched him come closer into view. His words soothed her worry as she moved towards him slowly, levering herself up off the ground to come towards him. “I never expected you to bring me anything, I know your duties keep you busy.” She spoke softly stretching out to press her nose against his shoulder as she came to a stop near him. He spoke of a walk, and she grinned. “I would love to! I’ve yet to explore too far, not knowing what all lies around me.”
