Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

KRYPTO!one year - loner - no mate - no imprint

Oh, there are many things I could pretend to be able to do. If she believes I am capable of something that would make it true in her mind! That is cheating. Still, for now it is better to have her oblivious to my inability to hunt or fight. She reacts to my words in a joking manner and it is already nice to see that she is enjoying the company. Good! Good! This couldn’t be going better. She tells me that her pack was the largest.
“In quantity of wolves? Or…” I asked with a wave of my tail.
There could be many wolves stuffed in a tiny hole and that would be a pack. Inefficient, but a pack anyways. Or there could be five wolves in a huge plot of land. Which would be kind of empty. It would be very funny to see ten wolves stuffed in a den. I’m happy with that image to describe her pack for now. It is the one that amused me the most.
We proceeded on the talk and she tells me how it was possible to build a pack of my own.
“That would be fun! But… Don’t think I’m fit to stay in a place and shout orders all around. I’m more than that.” I told her.
When I tell her of my self-given title, she shows interest and a smile draws on my face.
“I have come from lands far away from here where a pack called Dhali lives. They were good wolves, but the life in a pack wasn’t quite enough to me. I wanted to see more, travel more and be so much more. So in the middle of the night while most were sleeping, I sneaked away from there and disappeared without a trace to build my own life without the claws of a pack to hold me back. After a couple days of travel through desert lands and storms I found this place and I am feeling that here is where my story starts.”
The story was told with the pride of young me. There wasn’t fights with cougars or snakes yet, but still it was the great start to my story and now she knows. That makes me one step closer to my objective.
Then I teased her, asking how it was to lead a pack. She told me it was what she trained for and I chuckled more “So royal…” I smiled softly. Just a warm-hearted joke. But then she continued and the mood got a little sad. My ears lowered some. I… I never knew anyone who lost their parents… I… I don’t even know what to do or say…
“I’m sorry to hear…” I told her softly, looking as she changed the subject back “I can imagine… Nobody really questions what I do now as well… Heh, we kind of have that in common…” I told her, trying to lighten the mood again…
