I wanted to stay to the point, after all Aster wanted specific things from this girl. I had a hard time putting anything good over this, after all I knew Aster was being childish and self centered when it came to exactly what information she wanted. wasn’t about to just needle her to death the whole time though, that was just rude. After all I figured I should get to know the other former Tavioran that now walked the fields. I feel the soft nip of cold brush my fur, and I shake myself out, puffing out my fur to give myself more protection from the cold before allowing my red and blue gaze to reset itself upon Solstice. I only really knew her in passing in Taviora, so it was best to make sure this was her by asking. My nose twitched slightly taking her scent in once more and she confirmed that she was indeed the girl she was looking for.
I gave a nod and a small smile, though still a lot of my posture was businesslike, however her own friendly behavior and features makes my own lighten slightly. I offer a few more friendly waves of my tail and though she might not have seen my features relaxed a little as she appologized for us missing one another in Taviora and how it was a pleasure. ”Feeling's mutual, Solstice. Though don’t worry about missing me, I was always…. busy.” Not. Busy running into trees and patching bruises and cuts and whatever else between trying to find my footing in becoming Taviora’s advisor. I wish I could have stayed but I do find myself at least not having as many painful twists, sprains and certainly bruises since coming to my grandmother’s former pack.
I let that wash over me though. She continues asking what I needed her for and I appreciate her bluntness and getting to the point. Perhaps she can read me well enough to realize that I needed something from her. ”Yes, actually there is something I was wanting to ask you. Why did you come to Asteraia? You’re family is all in Taviora is it not?” While maybe I am going in a roundabout way of getting this started. Plus I didn’t know a lot about her after all this way it was a win win in my brain.
