Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Dark! Dark!

Fury washes and breaks upon him, sliding down his bones and burning into his veins. He had left her there in a pool of blood with the knowledge that the Shade would have his meal this day. That Underidge was suddenly bereft of the very thing he had clung to so fervently. It is a sickening feeling, a useless one, and he had went to Eden immediately to rage with her blood fresh upon his lips. Madness stoked him. It burrowed and plundered until he became a frothing monster of the dark, shadows sliding beneath the silver fur as the Shade shifts and uncoils, bloated upon his new prize and digs it's proud claws into him.

She is mine.

Under's ears pin back at the malicious voice that echoes where only he can hear. His heart pounds in denial - she was HIS - but his struggle is intermittent and ultimately useless. The Shade had been the first to secure his oath and in the end it was the most dominant.

"She is yours." The words hiss among a snarl from his lips as the madness that Eden had soothed and his wretched son had inspired once more coils within him. His fur is as ragged as his mind, matted together with saliva and his own blood from the fight he had started with Blackthorne before he finally left them all. He felt restless and unsatisfied but that was likely from having committed a murder that he hadn't wanted to.

The rush of paws and sleek fur draws his eyes, his growl hushed the moment he spied Umbra. She is graceful like her mother and loyal like him - a perfect mix. She never questioned him or doubted him and so he had lifted her up. Of his children she was second to none. He stares oddly at her for a moment for with Paravana gone she has been elevated now amongst his priorities. Until she spits fur out and then a stench rolls up to his nose. The very stench he had screamed at Eden about.

Emil. The name had rolled off her lips moments before he struck. The fur on his spine and hackles rises as he leans down to sniff it while his ears catch the shrill, furious words of Umbra. Home - a snarl rips across him as he suddenly slams a clawed paw onto the fur and rubs it into the dirt. Where he belongs, this Emil. "They will not know peace," he mutters in a frenzy, eyes snapping up to Umbra. "They will try to take you." His voice is deadpan now but within his weird silver eyes there is a raging tempest. "Take you to their home and claim you are theirs but you are not. You are mine."

It is not perhaps the answer that she wanted but there is an undeniable chill when he speaks, a certain truth in his words. He would rage war with these Angels and drag them down to hell before they took another from him.
