Inanna hesitated for a minute. She was world traveled to know what was expected of her, and what had been expected of her. From what little she remembered of her mother, she had been a healer, contributing to Inanna’s tendency to collect things. Life itself had taught the white wolfess very little about the art of actually ‘healing’. Instead, it had taken her down a path that had been completely different and unexpected. I know very little about what it takes to be a healer. She said bluntly, never one to mince her words. But I know what it takes to make a wolf not eat for days, I helped with the poisoning of Aranck finding what would eat him from the inside. I know of things that will make wolves see what is not really there but believe it existed when they wake up. I can make a wolf purge everything from their body, for better or for worse. Her words trailed off slightly and she eyed her Alpha with her intense two-toned gaze. As soft as they were, they held the storms within her, cunningly hiding the danger under a surface of serene light. Silence hung between them for a heartbeat before she dived into her true knowledge, not simply what anyone could discover from testing an herb here or there.
I have watched the storms and the world around us shape the earth. Destroy and give life. Just outside my...den… she was hesitant to admit she had thoroughly claimed a den of her own in front of the master of all Glorall. ...the storms and the shore ripped away protection only to rebuild it again. I know the force of nature, I believe it can help create power in us and take it away. Just like on the earth and the tree, give and take life. No half-lies or partial truths. As a pup, Inanna had walked in the footsteps of Zeus, the god of storms. He had taught her to respect the power of lightning and ask it to lend her its force, never demand. Since she had returned to her place in Glorall she felt the delight of watching the weather rise and fall over the oceans. Everything from peaceful sunrises to storms that spewed water spouts, they all eased into her.
An ear flicked back in the direction of the sandy shores, twisting against to train on the border to Diveen in the north. Her eyes narrowed for a moment to wonder what exactly he would be willing to give and what she could also do in return. Growing up a wanderer, she wondered if this was a chance to combine her lives. Give me free reign along the border of Diveen and Glorall. Where worlds seemed to collide. There is so much there. The dry-climate of the badlands driving down the rock faces to clash with the moisture of the oceans. Fresh and saltwater mixed to create a trickery that could lead a wolf to their doom. Herbs and plant life of every variety thrived and died along the lines of the two packs. The mystery and magic behind it made Inanna’s mouth water in excitement. There is much I could find to bring back and offer back to you.
