Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Inanna was nearly in a cloud of bliss. As Thor settled himself beside her she happily leaned into his solid form. Their black and white pelts mixed together in the perfect balance of clash of dark and light. Their touch and proximity brought their scents over each other like the waves that lapped at the shores they shared and the bank they had to traverse to get to this secret hide away Thor had found for them. Her eyes shined to herself as she nibbled on the delicious food he had found and gathered for her. This was truly a dream made real, special and singular, to be held onto forever and treasured deep in her heart. This day was a prize to be protected at all cost, shared only with him in her heart of hearts.

The grin she turned to him when she asked her question was teasing, alluring, and inviting. She wanted to draw him out and have him rise to her challenge. He had never disappointed her before, she had no fear that he would start now. His grin matched her own and she could feel her breath start to catch in her chest. The recklessness of their youth together, the friendship they had formed before they even knew what the world could be. Everything brought them here, with her looking into his blue-green eyes, falling into the playful twinkle that never seemed to leave. Even as Thor moved to pull and push the glittering pearl out for her, her gaze was locked onto him, and onto his face, seeing into everything she knew she loved about him. Her desire to have him beside her through the adventures and weathers of life.

Her heart beat like thunder in her ears, drowning out the world around him. It was only him and it was only her on the sands of this earth and nothing existed beyond the waters that surrounded them. Thor, I have always been your’s. I always will be your’s. You have had a piece of my heart since before I can remember and you carried it with you like my feather in your fur. Her voice was oddly soft compared to the cacophony in her body. She nipped lovingly at his cheek, easing it with a gentle lick and caress of her tongue and nose. I will be your mate, forever. She gave him another canine kiss before dropping her nose to the pearl at his paws.

More than she shining, glittering prize he presented (and don’t get her wrong, she was dancing on the inside about the pearl!) she wanted him. Assured that he would be beside her in the wind and rain, the calm and collect. She could see his face when she came back to the den and greet him at the doors when he returned as well. Inanna wanted him to be her’s as much as he wanted her to be his. Their tie together strong enough to continue to pulse within them despite fate, though their affection for their Imprints was still strong. She knew she loved Thor and she knew she would always love Thor. They had captured each other.
