When his nose had first come into her space, the initial shyness that gripped her started to ebb away rather swiftly. She was not shy by nature, mostly necessity. Others would speak and move for her, or on her behalf when she was unable to. Though it was slowly starting to change as Vitaliya continued to work with her and give her the strength back in her stunted movements and quiet voice. Her ears perked forward at him when he greeted her back, her tail increasing its speed, tangled in the branches of the bush. Still, she did not move from under the bush, still feeling fatigued and a little sore from her very long journey and not wanting to ask him to support her should she fall. Content and happy, she stayed where she was, grinning up at him.
Shocked concern came to her lopsided face as his sneeze forced him away and knocked him into a sit. She whined in empathy, knowing the troubles such a forceful sneeze would cause her in the event she had the misfortune of standing at the time. Likely she would have been completely grounded for at least a minute while she tried to catch her breath. Once he stabilized himself she leaned forward to get a better look at him, clearing her view of the leaves above her.
She grinned at his name, happy to be able to talk to someone and unnoticing of the stutters that seemed so natural to her. Mmmoteuh! The last syllable of her name was accented with a breath that came out too fast and she had to take a moment before continuing. Y-yes. I w-was resting. She seemed to droop a little, not wanting to tell him she got so tired easily. Instead, she wanted to talk about the good things. I w-walked very f-far today! Creamy crown went high with pride. She had walked further alone than she could ever remember. Though now she was pretty sure she was stuck, she was also sure someone would come to help her eventually. The angels were never too far away. Violet eyes glittered and she looked over the boy in front of her. You-u okay…? He had fallen rather hard, and the sneeze seemed to have shaken him. If he needed, he was welcome to share her bush and they could both rest peacefully while they waited for time or for help.
