Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Inanna’s eyes widened in sudden surprise when there was a squeal of joy from a wolfess who had appeared. The excitement and joy pouring off Samia was a bit overwhelming to Inanna, who had become unaccustomed to exuberant personalities of others. She took half a step back, surprised as the other’s paws wrapped around her in a hug. Too shocked to be able to react she simply stood as her new sister-in-law bounced between them excitedly. The happiness that overtook Samia started to sink into Inanna, her shocked expression starting to wipe away and ease slowly starting to return to her body. It was clearly apparent there were not ill-meaning bones in this woman’s body and Inanna had nothing to worry from her. Thor had even said they may have interests in common. Though Inanna was unsure if she would be able to get such a topic in edgewise, considering the current topic of conversation.

She smiled sheepishly, uncomfortable with being the center of attention, starting to prefer to run off to one of her holes. Still, she stayed for Thor, though she thought wistfully about how some of her other friends would have been far better suited for this encounter than she was. Still, she smirked back at him, slowly shifting back into her own merciless teasing nature. It’s true. He had to work hard to cast the spell. Inanna got to her feet, her tail starting to wag mischievously. And prove he could catch a crab without getting pinched. Only the obvious warning telling him of her plan, she punctuated her sentence by tackling him, simply enjoying to be touching him, and smothering him with herself. Looking up at Samia with her cool gaze, she continued to grin. Tell me about yourself, Samia. She still wanted to know who this other wolf was before she jumped into instant friendship.
