Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Dexter
male.11 years old.35in, 145#.born to MothxCoszcotl.sibling to Amoxtli&Zeltzin.unable to bind.mated to none.father to Eztli, Lixue, Petra, Citlalli, & Itzel.Taviora

The wolf before him doesn't seem to be in one piece at all. Even with the shifty looks he kept giving Dexter, he didn't feel that the wolf was all there in the head to begin with. It was like he was distracted, in some sort of internal struggle with himself. Even so, Dexter refused to give him the luxury of backing down. He had made a promise to Zharko and he would do what he could to get Zafira back to him. The wolf's hackles rose and Dexter furrowed his brows but held his ground. The other wolf hadn't made a move toward him yet so he refused to show hostility himself unless it was in defense. He wouldn't give Glorall a reason to run him off. Not until he had his answers. He could almost read the dare in the male's eyes, wanting him to take a step over that imaginary line into Glorall that would give him every right to attack. But no, Dexter would like to say he was smarter than that.

The wolf growled at him as if disappointed that he couldn't get under his skin and then there was a lot of silence, as if he was going to intimidate Dexter with his eerie glare. Finally he asked if Dexter was accusing Eden of kidnapping the pup and Dexter frowned and shook his head, choosing his words carefully.

"I said a female pup escorted her here. The pup was not from Glorall so no, I am not saying Eden had anything to do with it. He might not have even been aware that these pups came into Glorall. I am only asking if anyone has seen any female pups that aren't familiar to Glorall."

Now it was his turn to gaze at the wolf in a neutral but expectant way. His ears pricked forward and his tail gave a short wave as if encouraging the wolf to speak by reminding him that he came in peace. He knew this wolf was unpredictable at best and he wouldn't dare to relax or take down his guard but he wouldn't show hostility either. He needed to stay on neutral ground with Glorall, at least for now.
