Jaxon stands idly, the sweltering heat of summer penetrates every nook and cranny, literally he can feel the sweat pricking in every crevice. He heaves a sigh, before raising his heavy head, dark eyes gaze out from his hiding place. He had pushed through the thorns and branches to find a small thicket where no one else could find him. You are a wuss. The voice taunts. Jaxon doesn't even acknowledge the voice, it was too damned hot to deal with his sass mouth at the moment.

Jaxon flicks his dark tail over his dappled sides, the Commons had been quiet for the last few hours. He had arrived just as everyone was leaving. Perfect timing in his opinion, he preferred the solace that the woods offered. But before he can even complete his thought a sharp crack draws his attention. A pale mare. She tries to hide herself, but she wasn't very good at it. Between her height and her light coat, she stuck out amongst the shadows. He chuckles to himself, she was not very good at this game.

He waits patiently in the shadows as he watches the mare throw a temper tantrum, complete with a foot stomp and an irritated snort. Childish if you ask me. "No one, aske' you." He says to himself with a toss of his thick head, his dark mess of forelock falls over one eye. He sighs, he had two choices 1. he could approach the pretty mare and claim her for his own or 2. stand here and watch like a creep in the shadows. He chooses the latter.

Jaxon swivels his head around to his muscled shoulder, his lips trailing the few scabs that littered his dark coat. As he finds the protruding scabs, he begins to pick at them, purely out of boredom.
