The meeting is so full of innocence that I am startled at the change in my brother. In fact I am so startled I merely gape with my mouth wide open as he darts off with confidence. My gaze spins back to Zelda to observe her reaction, the softening of her face as she watches him dash away, and I think she just might be the thing that brings life to my brother. Or she could snuff it out. I shift a bit as the thought slams into me, the edged need to protect Lazarus at all costs, but she looks so kind that I push it down. For now. I'm still not sure who she is but it is clear WHAT she is to him as he comes running back with a mouth full of daisies that he lays at her feet like some gallant knight. I feel my heart squeeze in love for my brother, a cheesy grin on my face that turns into a frown as he suddenly wilts and rushes back to me to press up against my hips. It is... soothing, in a way, to know he views me as his protector because it means he doesn't hate me for my failure. I turn my head and press my nose into his forehead before glancing back at Zelda. Apparently I would have to introduce him too.

She is polite and follows the rules of protocol easily enough. Zelda! My eyes spark at the name and I smile with a soft wave of my tail. "Ah so you are my mates niece then," I say, though it feels weird since she is the same age as me. "You've traveled a good distance and must be winded. C'mon, I've got some prairie dogs I just caught this morning if you are hungry." I step to the side before pausing, casting a sly gaze at my brother. "This is Lazarus, my brother, Prince of Asteraia!" Because he was to me, always a prince, and I wanted him to feel great in her presence. Bold, like he had been.

"I know you have to be hungry too Laz," I say, spinning around and poking my nose playfully into his ribs. "So you come on too and I'll fatten you right up." I glance over my shoulder to wink at Zelda. She was family, in a way, and a Queen of an allied pack. I begin to walk in the direction of my shared den with Halcyon, careful to mince steps so she can look around if she wants and Lazarus won't get too scared and bolt off. "Is there a pressing reason you've come to visit or just familial things?" My voice is full of curiosity and openness - I did not feel guarded around her, the keeper of my brothers soul. It was unlike the sickening feeling when I met Eden, for secrets did not seem to hover over her like some veil.

All ranks may be challenged for outside of Kuk and Thoth. Tasks to rise in rank will be given at the discretion of Sekhmet.

Sekhmet - Pharaoh of Asteraia - Goddess of divine retribution and vengeance, Sekhmet protects and avenges those under her rule. She has final say in all matters pertaining to the pack and it’s wellbeing.

Kuk - The Chosen One - Darkness personified, this wolf is the chief warrior and is given all the same rights as the Pharaoh. Made of strength, tasked with teaching the youth to build their strength.
Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.

Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.

Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.

Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.

Kith - Children of Asteraia - The youth are our future.
Kin - Unranked members of Asteraia - Those who have not yet chosen a specialty, or who do wish to.
