Did he expect her to rant or rave about his disrespect, to get up in his face and be blindingly angered by his challenge? While her blood still boiled at the implication that she was not suited for the task at hand she knew better than to show it instead agreeing with practiced diplomacy. It seemed to rankle him and as she paced away a ghost of a smile played on her lips though it had vanished by the time she turned to face him once more. He might think her a spoiled princess, but she had spent countless hours with her uncle during their time in Diveen and there were few warriors better than Taliesin. He had taught her not only how to apply her strengths in a fight, but how to read her opponent and their intentions.

Her regal head lowers in preparation, watching him for barely a moment before he was bounding towards her. He was quick, smaller than she and agile but she was not without her own abilities. His attack is bold but in its boldness, it is weak for she can read what he plans to do plain as the muzzle on his face. She considers her options, stepping to the side she might avoid his attack entirely but that did not suit her instead she chose to meet him head on. Literally.

With her own jaws gaping she uses her height to her advantage, lifting her head and her long, flowing tail follows in sheer display of her rightful dominance. High as his head goes hers attempts to lift higher meeting teeth with teeth as a deep yet still somehow beautiful growl rumbles in her delicate chest. Her aim is clear as his, to force him down and into submission be it by clamping her black lips around his muzzle or the scruff of his neck he will be shown she is capable, shown exactly how willing and able she is. She does not wish to hurt or harm them, there can be no benefit in injuring one of her own pack but she will prove to him and everyone watching now that she is worthy.
