PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Scream Like You Mean It

The dark faced woman studied Oswin with a silent stare. Her face was stone, bordering on a glare. Sapphire eyes sparked and narrowed at her reaction. She was stirred with a quiet envy towards the other woman. The ease with which she could show her emotion and feelings towards a partial stranger. Adelheid slowly pushed a heavy breath through her soft nose. Deep within her she tried to release some of the bitterness she thrived on. The breath caught in her throat, unable to fully leave her. Oswin did not deserve her anger. She knew this. There were others in the world who did. In her world of injustice and unfairness, Owsin had done nothing to earn her wrath.

It was a long time ago. Adelheid assured the sister as best she could in her dry voice. Once more her eye flicked over Oswin’s golden body. A different time. It was the best she could do, struggling still in her attempt to relax beside her sister. Her tension only multiplied as they approached the fallen figure of Jetta. As they drew near, Adelheid’s head lowered, quietly offering to help her blood sister back to her feet. The depth of her love for Jetta ran deep, though the pulse of it rarely showed clearly on her body.

Her words, however, had Adelheid’s head snapping back. Her body ran cold. Their mother? What about mother? Her thoughts rifled through her mind. The last time she had seen her mother, she had screamed at her. Rage bursting from her lips like dragon’s fire to burn everything in its path. She had left that day, never to look back. Now she stood before her blood, her body cold, fearing what words would come from Jetta’s lips. She loved her family deeply, as best she could. Her nose lowered again to Jetta, silently asking again for the words that were a challenge for her sibling to say, though her ears were pressed back against the meaning behind what she might say.
