Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Wren
Speckled Princess
Two ~ Chooses None ~ Destined for Zharko ~ Cosmos of Diveen ~ 38” ~ 188#
Daughter of Solara & Taliesin; Sister of Finch & Sparrow

For a moment, the young girl wondered if the figures behind her were her parents coming to fetch her from the free lands. Snorting in annoyance, Wren splashed her paw into the water as she stood up, her tail and ears held up rigidly. "I don't want to go home yet! You shouldn't-" The words clung to her tongue and were never spoken as she turned around and came face to face with two, unfamiliar males. With her back to the lake, she suddenly realized her mistake in leaving herself open and becoming trapped. However, neither male seemed to be threatening her. They weren't growling, their hackles were flat, and their tails remained neutral. Taking a deep inhale through her nostrils, she discovered that they weren't from Iromar or any other pack. They had their own scent. Knowing this made her relax somewhat.

Bi-colored eyes watched them curiously as the dark one finally spoke, his voice giving away his young age. The lighter boy remained silent at his companion's side. "You are a child of ocean and desert, are you not?" Wren stared at the boy for a moment, her head tilted to the side. What an odd question to ask. Was he talking about her home and the dreaded ocean pack? A moment went by as she pondered a way to answer, but then stopped and huffed loudly. "It's rude to ask such a question before you've introduced yourselves," she said, raising her head a little higher. Truth be told, she had no idea if that was true or not, but she wasn't about to let them know that. Wren felt a strange aura coming off the two males and it made her feel uncomfortable. She wanted to make them feel the same.

A silence stretched out between the three and the growing unease in her belly filled to the brim. Finally, she signed and sat on her haunches. "My name is Wren, once princess of Diveen and daughter of Solara and Taliesin. I guess you could call my home a desert. It does get rather hot and it's not as full of trees as many of the other packs. It is next to Glorall, the ocean land. Is that what you wanted to know?" she said, then thought a moment. "Why do you want to know? Who are you two?"
