Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I know all about our family members, even if they do not know about me. Mother made sure to describe each and every descendant of her bloodline to me as they popped into existence. I know all of their names, their looks, and if Ava knew anything about their personality she told me about that too. Ava was quite the stalker of her bloodline if they knew it or not, and she fed the information to me if I liked it or not. Yeah, yeah, I know the importance of it all. And apparently it will come to use today.

My green eyes flicker up as I see another coming my way. A pup, who matches the description of one of my...great nieces? I had taken particular interest in this one’s description as she held a nose similar to mine. Not many held the lightness of our noses, and l knew that there was strong blood between us. Not only that, she is female, and although Mother adores Eden, she always tells of how females are the true power in this world. As a crack into the small clams I also crack a smile towards her.

The young one spoke to her in Latin, as she should, and she licked her salty lips as she slightly lifted her white visage. Eve had a naturally menacing look to her visage, though it is not too heavy, there is always a sting attached to her poison green and black eyes.

”Sicut sapidum si sal. Sufficit agere.“ (Tasty if you like salt. It is enough to pass the time.) I say in reply in cool Latin, going back down to crunch another one with my jaws. Honestly they were easy enough to crack since their shells are not thick, it is just a lot to deal with for the reward. I lift my head again as I snapped on a blue one and licked my lips, my eyes carefully looking over the young one. She is of my blood, this I am certain, and thus there must be some worth to her yet.

”Sic Adonai, tandem ad te in occursum tibi adfinitate coniungitur, hm?” (So Adonai, you have finally come to meet your Aunt, hm?) I said with great confidence in my slick voice as water continues to batter at the beach next to us. I admit I have not spent much time with the descendants of Eden, and I have spent more time along with the likes of Blackthorne, who I know would appreciate some worthy blood in his presence. Perhaps this girl may be interested in hanging around with some more...fun and interesting personalities.

”Perge, comedent, nec in quaerit nocere, ne in ut salire erit os tuum cibus hos dies.” (Go ahead, eat, no harm in trying, not like food will jump into your mouth these days.) I say, then allowing my eyes to wander to where the little clams gather and then back to the young one. I have much to assess of this girl who shares a face similar to mine. I expect nothing but greatness to come from her...but I cannot say I wouldn’t be tempted to rid the world of any blood that taints our family name. Hopefully that will not be the case with her.
