Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Maybe it was against the rules, and he ought to know better. But Nari had yet to send him away (neither by asking nicely nor forcefully or angrily either). Arturio gave his imprint her space, though it was strangely comforting to be relatively nearby. It was not in any sort of romantic way. Perhaps a more familial feeling is what he felt towards the Valkyrie he was bound to by fate. For a little while, he had thought it perhaps some cruel joke, forcing him to be part of someone's life in some way, but it was not the case.

Arturio was still mindful not to directly approach someone himself. He wasn't overly familiar with the sort that called Glorall home, certainly not in away to go trotting up to anyone he might come across. Of course, he wasn't exactly a stealthy beast either. Art was built for power and strength. Speed was not his best friend, but he certainly could move when it mattered. Silence, he could manage, but his sheer mass made stealth difficult more often than not. His green gaze was watchful, allowing him to be mindful of those he spied in the distance and alter course. This was not, however, the case today.

In a small bit of complacency, he did not notice he was being followed until there was a far more distinct sound in the sand behind him. A bit to the point this one was, he noted, as he paused, turning to face Elohim. In the free lands, such an approach may have been met with bared teeth, even if only for a moment, but Art was still technically a guest within the pack. Ruffling feathers would only cause more trouble than it was worth. "The mute warrior. She requested I come, never bade I leave," he said. Sadly, Art still did not have her name. It was one of the few difficulties of not having met anyone else Nari knew. Names were one of the few things that were difficult to convey unless they happened to be an object or word associated with something else.

He did not fault her for it though. Art enjoyed her company, much to his surprise early on, so he never really pressed. "If she is, I wouldn't know," the white wolf said with a mild shrug of his shoulders. "You don't plan to find her and tell her I should leave, do you?" He asked, though he doubted the younger male would do such a thing, a smile hinted at his maw. Art's possible, maybe even failing attempt at a joke.
