Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Her head had ended up colliding with his right hindquarter, and she immediately felt bad. Pepper avoided being hit when he lost his balance, and she nearly winced when he landed with his back to the ground. For a moment his stomach was visible, and she understood that it probably wasn’t the most comfortable of positions. Her stumbled out apology made her feel even more uncomfortable. This wolf before her probably thought she was crazy.

The shake of his head when he looked to her caused her towers to prick, even as he admitted that it was fine. Still, the unsociable wolf wondered if it really was. Maybe she should apologize again? As she thought this, the ivory demon had stood back up and shook his pelt out while talking. It was kind of hard to make sense of, Pepper wasn’t even sure if it was really aimed at her. Nevertheless, she responded as if he had. Yes, totally my fault…and I should have been looking where I was going. She relaxed a little since he hadn’t seemed that upset about it.

When he coughed again, she wondered if maybe he was sick or something. His words of not being mad alleviated her worries, she was even surprised that he gave his name. Should she show her appreciation? These moments brought a sense of complete ignorance to her. Thank you…um…for not being mad. Wait, a moment, he had told her that she didn’t have to leave. Huh? Was she supposed to stay around and chat? Now she was at a new loss because she didn’t understand why she would stick around. Why would he assure her that it would be okay if she did stay? Pepper’s hesitation was what caused her to stay.

Aindreas gaze leaving her again caught her attention. Pepper glanced to see a huntress approaching them. Was she a friend or something to the male? When she came to stand near her, Pepper could see that her coat held similar colors to her own, but also hues of brown. Her eyes were what really caught Pepper’s attention though, she had never met a wolf with eyes like the new stranger had. Growing embarrassed for staring, she soon looked away, back to the male while the lass questioned what the titan before them had been doing. Aindreas grin to the newcomer made her wonder what it would be like to be so confident when meeting strangers. Pepper could barely get a whole sentence out. Centering himself? Well she sure had come along and wrecked it for him. Why was the titan suddenly looking embarrassed? Pepper didn’t think on it for long, not when she had done the same for being a dim-wit just moments ago.

He introduced himself…again. If she had been any other wolf Pepper might have found it comical, instead she just listened to his words with patience. And by patience it really was her being nervous at the idea of talking to these two strangers. Her gaze snapped to his when he said that he was bad at interacting with other wolves. So, he was like her? Silly, obviously he was more social than herself she thought. Still, it would explain his pauses and repeating his name. Her maw parted, and stayed parted, in shock when he admitted to being an alpha. Then she finally composed herself, well, as best as she could. He was an alpha and she had hit him! The different colored lady kind of wished the ground would swallow her right now. I’m Pepper…I just…bumped…into an alpha! She tentatively used the word bump even as she whispered-yelled in horror the last part, like she had assaulted him or something. Her gaze was on both of them now as she ducked her head, feeling her pelt heat in embarrassment. Could this get any worse? Sorry, I’m not very great at talking with others either. She admitted this even though she felt like it was obvious.
