At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

_________________________________________________________________________ The female already felt much happier now that she was back home. For a long time Khaleesi thought that she needed her mother to be truly happy, and though she did miss Hellene, she had learned how to be more independent. Khaleesi had always been happy and carefree, even despite some troubles in her past, and she knew she would find a way to cope with living without her brother and now without her mother. She decided to focus her thoughts on her studies as a healer to help distract her, even though it had been Hellene herself that had taught her all she knew. The snow white femme could only hope that she would be as good as her mother with time. So far she had not needed to do any healing on her own in Dierne Hrof, but she wanted to prepared for anything. She had been worried when the pack took a new form that someone might be hurt in the process, but from what she could see everyone was okay. She had taken the time to search the new lands for any injured vargs, while also trying to make a new mental map for herself. As the sun was rising on a new day the bright rays slithered into Khaleesi’s den, prying bright green orbs open from sleep. She yawned, taking a few moments to stretch her limbs before beginning her day. She decided to visit her herb stores and see if she should go out and search for anything knew. Luckily she had plenty of everything still despite the changing lands she had not lost anything. As she thought about the changing lands it dawned on her that the other areas besides her own pack had probably changed as well. If that was the case then she could not assume her usually herb picking spots still existed. She had good stores now, but she knew that that would not be the case forever, so she decided to go scope out the lands. Snow colored paws carried the femme through the trees that were now strangers to her. She had lived in Blossom for as long as she could remember, and now the place was foreign to her. She would just have to take the time to learn how the rest of the area was aligned as she did before. Now there were streams in new areas, and she decided to follow one in case she got badly lost. There was a gentle breeze in the air that ruffled her pelt, and an easy smile was on her features as she patrolled new lands. The ground beneath her began to get softer and muddier as she approached some pools. Bright orbs looked around her to see some falls with clear water, but mostly it was swamps and mud. But with all this water came a lot of foliage, and she began to explore the area, looking to see what was growing around the swampy pools, too distracted by her surroundings to notice if any may be approaching.
