Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

MEN SHOULD KEEP THEIR WORD,

There was a full moon out as the male explored the territory, looking for a place for him and his mate to spend some time together. Before the earth had changed he knew every inch of the land, maybe not as well as his old pack, but well enough. And now half of it was foreign to him. It would take time for Grey Wind to grow to know the lands as well as he used to. One of the biggest changes was the waters. There used to be a large lake, but it had expanded drastically into a powerful ocean. It was one of the stronger landmarks for Uyaraut’s territory, but it was not Grey Wind’s favorite area. He had been fine with water, being a strong wolf he could swim well, but there was something about not being able to see the other side of land with an ocean that unsettled him. But it served its purpose as a territory marker at least. The brute decided to go to the opposite side of the pack to search out a spot. He knew that he could always call Macaria to their den, but he wanted to be somewhere different. He was not always happy in his den. There were too many nights where he awoke to find his mate gone, and he didn’t want this meeting with her to be an unhappy or angered one.

After some time the large grey male found a groove of thick trees, and he pushed his form through them to find a more secluded area. It was here that he lifted his maw to the sky, calling for Macaria. He wasn’t sure if she was even within Uyaraut tonight, but he figured that she would find her way back eventually and find him. He had always been a patient varg and would wait as long as he needed to for her. The male explored the small area he had found, sniffing around at the trees to find only stale scents of the wolves. It seemed that this was not an often visited place. Grey Wind eventually sat down to one side, the light of the moon more than enough for him to see the edge of the trees, and to look for the form of another wolf. When the femme was gone for longer periods of time he would often worry about her. He was confident in her abilities to take care of herself, but she was not the largest of females and he worried for her safety. Especially when she was intaking poppy. It dulled her senses even more than usual and he didn’t want her to get herself into a tough situation she couldn’t get out of, especially with all the strangers she saw.

As the time drew longer, Grey Wind thought more of what she could be up to. Maybe she was actually gone for some time again, but he could only hope that that wasn’t the case this time. But then he heard the sounds of someone approaching, and he got to his paws, hoping to see her. And luckily it was her, the smaller wolf coming through the trees to come to his side. When he heard a whine escape from her, Grey Wind nipped at her nape affectionately, harder than he would another being. "Hello, my dear. I was watching the waves... it is odd, is it not, to be by an ocean now?" The male purred at her voice, pushing his form closer to her, missing her in their time apart. ”The ocean is not my favorite place. It’s too big.” Grey Wind didn’t need to worry about what he said around her or how he sounded, he always felt like himself when he was with Macaria. All of the worries and uncertainties that the male had been feeling while he was waiting for her disappeared when she showed up, and he didn’t want her to leave ever again. The brute stayed by her side, going to the ground and pulling at her to come down with him, his larger form trying to encompass her smaller one. The male groomed her pelt, wishing for it to smell of only the two of them. Between his gentler licks he would nip and bite at her, knowing that she would know these were out of affection and not aggression, even if he had to use more force with her than another being. ”What else have you been up to lately.” Even though he didn’t like to think about what she may have been up to, he still wanted to hear everything that she would share with him.
