Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She had been informed rather bluntly that with the arrival of the silver boy who was the left hand of Blackthorne she was to train. That he expected her to be an ardent student and he would 'quiz' her often to make sure that Zharko was teaching her correctly and that she was learning. She understood the implied threat. Learn or he would teach her and it wouldn't be pleasant. Still, it didn't bother her, in fact, it excited her. To FINALLY have a purpose, a meaning, for the meadow no longer needed her guardianship and she hadn't seen Enoch in many many moons. Even Matianak had been busy and while she didn't particularly seek out the companionship of her half sister it was not unwanted. She was... well, lonely. She had even considered trying to weasel into the training that their father had with her half sisters but the remembered pain of Thorne's fury kept her well away from them. She was, above all, obedient to her brother.

Which is why she now glides through Glorall with a grace that is uncanny when placed against the jackal movements of her father or the purposeful strides of her brother. Natiya is elegant and beautiful and only grew into that with each passing season but she is woefully unequipped with knowledge and she intends to THRIVE.

He is easily found because she has begun to track and learn and watch in silence from a distance so she knew the general area he had taken to. He might be small in stature but he was built muscular from fighting and there is a quick intelligence in his eyes that let's her know she will indeed, learn. "Zharko," she says, her musical voice scaling the air as she tucks her ears back and dips her head respectfully. He is a male and even though Thorne is her provider and master, all males require such a show. "I have come to train."
