More wolves started to arrive but for now, he only had ears for the girl calling herself Lucille. She seemed to have real spunk and he liked that in a girl. He didn't have much experience with them. He had his sister Tikal but she was shy and seemed more at home with her flowers than with other wolves. At least he had her to protect. Other than that, he'd only spoken to girls to learn his purpose. He had found a wolf talking to a skull and she had showed him visions of something beyond death. It was both fascinating and terrifying. Were all girls so strange? He wasn't sure yet but he wanted to find out. Meanwhile he had to keep a careful eye on his sister, just in case. She wasn't used to such crowds, after all. But another wolf was already heading over to her, another female. Well, at least it wasn't a boy that he needed to chase off or give the big brother speech to. But something about the way the girl moved...such purpose, such attitude. Maybe it was her striking colors or the way she grinned at Tikal like they were going to be such good friends. Something about her made it where he couldn't take his eyes off of her. He knew he was being rude. He was supposed to be giving Lucille his undivided attention. But his ears were pricked toward the new girl now as she introduced herself to Tikal. Warpaint, hm? Interesting name. He watched as she touched her muzzle to his sister's and then reassured her that it was okay. He felt something inside him melt a little, his head tilting a little in curiosity when she asked what was going on. Clearing his throat, he turned his gaze back to Lucille momentarily with a sheepish smirk. "My apologies. Excuse me." And with that out of the way, he trotted right over and sat on the other side of the female, blinking at Tikal and then at her. Something inside him was shifting, changing. Something about HER was changing him. "I'm Fen. You...must be important. What do you need from me?" He was always a straight to the point sort of guy. He gazed at her expectantly. Somehow he just knew that something was needed from him and everything depended on her answer. He was held here for her. He came here...for HER. He knew he still had other purpose, that he still needed to become a great spy, assassin, warrior, and thief. But somehow none of that mattered in this moment because SHE was here.
