Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

THE HERE AND NOWALPHA OF GLORALL
Elohim

Return to Lunar Children
Hero of Legend {Nari}
IP: 107.77.68.107

Arturio had been mostly keeping to himself. Fended for himself, lost in his own thoughts. He drifted in and out of Glorall. Had Nari finally informed her Alpha of his presence? Or perhaps Elohim had done that . The white wolf found both unlikely, or else he would have been sought out by now surely. The giant tried to not let it bother him, though something the boy had said still rang in his ears. He intended to ask her next time he saw her.

He knew she was never far away, their bond indicating as much. But rarely did he encroach on her space, as much as the strange urge crossed his mind. Art was content to be allowed nearby. On occasion he had thought to ask about meeting her children. They were not quite grown, but certainly not pups needing close supervision either from what he gathered in the scents of the area. One day, he told himself. in her own time.

So today he was hunting. He stood out visibly with his white coat, but remained down wind of the rabbit passing through the area. It was small, likely fairly young and separated from its family. Shame, but a wolf needed to eat. Large as he was Arturio crept silently up on the creature, timing his strike as the rabbit nibbled on some grass. As his jaws wrapped around it, the thing shrieked. It was always a god awful sound, but it didn't last, as the rabbit was dead in seconds. Catch in hand, the male went to find a quiet spot to enjoy his snack.
