Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

Lost in the Echo

Test My Will, Test My Heart

The femme traveled lazily through the trees, having no specific place to be or anyone to see. There had been a lot of changes going on recently, and she welcomed the time to just relax. She had not realized how stressed she had been until she finally took the time to relax. But now that she was, she was happy. Really she was often happy, always being an optimistic and upbeat wolf. Slim limbs carried the ess through the forest, her bright blue orbs taking in the scene of the area she used to know, but was now foreign to her. It would take some time before Adara had learned where everything was again and she began making a new mental map for herself. A few times her mind wandered to her nephew, but she made her push the thoughts aside, wanting to have a few moments to just be a wolf and not worry about the responsibilities of being an aunt and a tempest. It was a change that she would have to get used, but a change that she welcomed. Thinking of being one of the vargs in charge protecting those that needed it was just the sort of job that she knew she would enjoy doing.

The silvery grey femme’s pelt stood out amongst all the green shrubbery that littered this area of the lands, but she didn’t mind. She had often lived on her own and most recently outside the lands of a pack, but she was not opposed to meeting a familiar face, or even a stranger. It was not long before the form of another being caught her attention. The male was darker colored than she, blending in to their surroundings more than she did, but she saw his form nonetheless. Adara didn’t know who he was, and she knew it would be a gamble to say hello in case he turned out to not be a friendly varg, but the only way for her to find out was to do. And there was something telling her that she would not be harmed by him, even though she had no reason for such a thought. The femme kept herself in a neutral stance, letting the stranger know that she was now threat to him. When she said hello and caught his attention, he did not greet her warmly or aggressively, but took a moment to look her over. She gave him a warm smile, her plume wagging softly behind her, hoping that he would not be opposed to her company.

The pair of wolves exchanged names, and Adara took a few steps closer to the male, asking if she was interrupting anything as she cocked her head to the side in question. Harlow gave her a smile in return and closed the gap between them, being close enough to touch but not doing so. "Only if you plan to keep me from exploring or a hunt if I find anything worthwhile.” The femme let out a small laugh, smiling at him once more. ”No, I would never do something like that.” The darker colored male’s gaze kept meeting her own before he finally spoke his curiosity, "Do your eyes... bother you?" For a moment Adara was confused for a moment, temporarily forgetting about her new form as a tempest. Being around Harlow had made her forget everything else about her life temporarily, and she had been in the moment. ”They did at first, but not anymore.” She paused for a moment, unsure if her transformation was something that she was supposed to share with others. But if there were vampires returning to Blossom and would be threatening the safety of others, she supposed it would be okay to bring it up. ”When they….changed to this color it was…not a fun experience. But now I see better than I ever did before.” She spoke softy, unsure if the magic coming to the land was something he knew about or not. Or if he would just think that she was crazy talking about her eyes changing. A few weeks ago if someone had come to her and told her the things she was going to go through, she certainly would have thought that they indeed were crazy.
