Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I know her scent well though surely not as well as her mother's; Zelda. I am surprised, at least mildly so, to have her come to Glorall and yet I suppose it is wrong to be so. After all, it was some time ago that Asteraia laid claim to Glorall as an enemy and with the battle cries in Diveen, I wondered if any others would come to check on the eastern front. Thouhg, I cannot say which particular topic has brought her here.
I know, however, that it does not pertain to Zeltzin or our children, at least. Zelda is silent and so, I must assume it means she does not come baring ill news. Isn't that quite the change to the way things have been, no?

The wind practically pushes me along the paths and towards her, battering the taller trees and howling in their canopies. Though it is not ideal, I do not leave her waiting and I am fast to break the treeline and greet her with my eyes. Immediately though, I lift my gaze to her companion. I show no acknowledgement to him but I wonder...why is he here? Have the wolves of Moladion grown so fearful that they must bring companions everywhere, or perhaps she has taken a mate? In any case, I give him merely a passing glance before I motion to the pair to join me several feet away, where the wind is blocked by the larger trunks.

I do not become seated though. Instead, I wait patiently on my paws, giving her a deliberate bow of greeting finally.
"We were not expecting a visit from Taviora," I speak only to Zelda, ignoring the stranger with her though I watch him in my peripherals if only to see if he will show something that Zelda might hide. "I hope the journey here was a pleasant one." I fall into silence and begin to move over each possible scenario that has brought her here.
