She did not quite expect the yelp from the Uncle. Mother was not much of a yelper. She was a calm and quiet woman and explained things nicely. The yelp made Kircket’s mis-matched eyes widen in her own surprise, but it only meant that she was more drawn to make her strike on his heel in response.

As she bit at her Uncle’s heel, she heard her sister make the noises and say that the bug she was getting was gross. Kricket certainly would keep that in mind. Gross things were no fun at all! ”Oh no Dandy, don’t eat them again, ew!” she said in response with her cute child voice. The whole time she kept her attempt going to bite into their Uncle...not a moment’s rest or hesitation.

He asks then why her teeth were so sharp. Kricket stops for a moment. Her teeth are this thing call sharp? ”Sharp? Interesting!” she said with a giggle, immediately bounding for his front left paw from behind, seeking to wrap herself around it like a bracelet, and immediately starting to play with her own tail around his paw.

”Sharp! Sharp teeth! You hear that Dandy?They are SHARP,” she calls out among her own giggles. ”Are you showing him your sharp teeth?” she asks, then turns her head up. She then smiles big, REAL big, to show him her, apparently, sharp teeth. ”Uncle! Whose teeth are the sharpest? Let’s have a contest!!!!” she exclaims, and quickly returns to batting at her own tail around Uncle’s paw.
