The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

a vexatious kiss

It somehow did not occur to the young female that what she knew of vampires and being one herself was not quite known to the world just yet. The naivety contained within her soul was a stark contrast the darkness that was embedded in her veins now. Diosa was a walking form of irony in this world. The innocence of a pup, diluted by the nature of her breed; the darker instinct that rose up to consume her in the season when she waited too long to feed was the curse of her breed. Although most of her fellow vampires did not agree with this sentiment, because of them had changed of their own will. Diosa had been saved by her change, as far as she knew. Lucaya had changed them to save them, and had she not, then neither she nor any of her siblings would be alive. Although this did not change the way that Diosa felt about her needs. She cringed when she thought about the way she sometimes accidently thought of other wolves. It wasn’t normal to think of another wolf as delectable or even consider them dinner to begin with, was it? Honestly she didn’t know though. Diosa knew no other life from what she had been given, and though that principle instinct was not one that she agreed with, she did hate it so much to the point of killing herself. And it made her no less thankful to her mother for saving her and her siblings from death.

Some of them had reacted better to the change and accepted it much more readily than she, but then there was Holly. The only one of them who had not changed. She seemed neither upset nor happy with this fact, but Diosa still loved her anyways. It made her a bit more protective of her sister, only because she knew the poison of the bite from the first time had worn away by now. Holly was susceptible to the change again or worse, death. And unlike most wolves, Holly knew that. Or at least Diosa hoped she realized that. No one in the pack would harm her and as far as she knew they were the only vampires around in Blossom Forest, because even if wolves were changed outside of the packlands many would seek residence under the Vampire Queen. Diosa could only imagine that there were wolves out there who hated her kind, but she did not know that there was a breed specifically designated to wipe away her kind. She didn’t know that there was a another breed that could induce a craving like no other for her. The Tempests and the Arcus Irae were the inherently good wolves in this land, while she by default was evil. It was almost funny the way these breeds were glorified or condemned just for their breed, whether it corresponded with who they truly were or not.

And that was why Diosa wanted to make a friend of Khaleesi—to show someone that not all Vampires were evil.

Diosa realized as she was talking that Khaleesi’s mouth had nearly seemed to drop to the floor. Her eyes were wide in shock and filled with confusion, making Diosa feel no better about where this was going. She tried to whisper to herself internally, it’s okay, she just doesn’t understand yet… I’ll help her understand. And she wasn’t lying to herself, Diosa wanted Khaleesi to understand, but hadn’t really thought about what this femme knew of her kind or how she might react. Luckily, unknown to her, Khaleesi knew nothing, thus making it maybe a slight bit more possible to show her that not all of her kind were evil. Diosa smiled sheepishly waiting for Khaleesi to speak up, No, um…it wasn’t rude. I’m sorry, you are the first vampire I’ve met. We do not have any vampires in my pack. Diosa made a small, ‘oh’ noise, realizing that maybe all the vampires really did live in Caidir Olc. It wasn’t an over exaggeration. My pack is like a big family. A lot of us have grown up there, I did anyways. So most of us are very close. I don’t have anymore of my family in the pack, my mother and brother both left. Do you have family here? Diosa smiled happy to know that there were other packs, like hers that were one big family! Diosa’s tail wagged slightly, I’m sorry to hear that your blood family is not in the pack with you, but it sounds like having the pack makes up for it in some way! It’s the same way here, were all a big family, although it sort of has to do with the fact that most of us are vampires, but there are a few who aren’t. Diosa wasn’t sure what all she could say of her homeland without giving up too much, but she didn’t think telling Khaleesi about her family would be too much of a problem. I’m the daughter of Lucaya, the Queen of Caidir Olc. Lucaya adopted all of my siblings and I after she saved us. She saved us by turning us into Vampires, and then took us on as her children and heirs to the packlands. There is Holly my sister. Odin and Lucifer my brothers. And then me. We four are related and then we have other siblings too, so there is quite a few of us. Diosa smiled happily thinking about her family. Althought Holly isn’t actually a vampire, she didn’t change like the rest of us, but mother still loves her anyways and so do the rest of us. the smile on her kissers grew brighter and her scarlet orbs looked to Khaleesi, What’s it like in your pack? What kind of wolves live there? Do you have any ranks or positions in the pack? What do you do in the pack? Diosa was filled with a burning curiosity to see this other pack, maybe one day she’d take the time to go visit Khaleesi if she wouldn’t mind, of course.
