Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

I am the Sword in the Darkness I am the Watcher on the Wall

Now My Watch Begins; It Shall Not End Until My Death

Crimson red orbs looked over the female, unsure of what she was talking about at first. The more that he interacted with others the more obvious it was that everything had changed since the last time he had been here. He thought that NeMO’s unique lifestyle was strange enough, but that was normal in comparison to the rest of what was happening now. It was as if life here in Blossom had turned upside down and everyone had some strange aspect to them. Was he the only one here now that was “normal”? He had never thought of himself as normal, but compared to the vampires and other magical beings here, he was normal in that sense. But then he remembered the other male he had encountered, and there had been no supernatural aspect to him. So what had brought so many magical beings to Blossom? And how was magic even real? Was it not some fantasy that was told to entertain pups? The brute shook his head as he focused back on the female, still trying to make sense of all the new information he was getting about the lands.

The word vampire still bounced around in his head when this female mentioned it. He had heard rumors of vampires when he had first been here, rumors of them living within the pack he was in. Rumors that NeMO’s family was vampires. He still was not sure what was or was not true, but if this female was talking about vampires then maybe they were real? Could they really be real? He knew they could be. He knew that anything could be real. What would stop the world from having magic and evil and vampires? Nothing. This female was a stranger, what would she gain from lying to him? He could not think of anything so he could only assume that it was true. At least until other evidence proved otherwise. Ghost asked who she was, still confused about who Lucaya was and what it had to do with him.

The male listened carefully as the female introduced herself, explaining a bit about what had happened. He saw how uncomfortable she became, looking down at her paws, looking back to him with tears in her eyes. "My name is Motionless. I was Queen of Malignant Felicity . . . Back when it was Malignant Felicity . . . And you are? I'm sorry for the mix up, dear. I had to flee those lands or else it would have been my head on a spike. You see, this place has changed. Malignant is now called Caidir Olc, it's run by vampires. Lucaya, the new Queen has these pups she turned and called her own children, and apparently that was her home before I came along . . . She wants my life." The brute thought of his own family and what had happened to them. It had been because of political wars that his own father had been dethroned and killed, leaving his offspring no choice but to flee if they did not want to be slaughtered as well. Ghost felt for the female as he thought of what she had gone through, the nightmares of his own past flickering through his mind.

Ghost had never been good at comforting others, he felt awkward and unsure of what to do or say. His brother had always been better at those skills, and he envied him right now. But he couldn’t just continue to stand here and stare at the female. The femme had walked a bit closer to him, and Ghost normally would feel uncomfortable about her approach, but he could tell that she was hurting and didn’t feel right walking away or putting more distance between them when her body was screaming that it needed comfort. The male’s crimson orbs looked up to meet her own as he finally spoke. ”I am sorry for what has happened to you. I know it is not the same, but if it is any comfort to you myself and my siblings went through a similar…attack. It’s how I lost my father…and my first home.” The male wasn’t sure what else to say to her when it dawned on him that he had not yet introduced himself to her. ”Oh, sorry. My name is Ghost.” Awkwardly, unsure of himself, Ghost padded closer to her, watching her reaction, stopping his approach if she should show any way of being uncomfortable. If she was okay with his approach he would sit down close to her, not touching, but only a few inches from her own snow white pelt. He turned to look at her as his plume reached out to touch her flank, ”Is there anything I can do to help? I am only a loner, but I can offer myself to help protect you at least.” Ghost was not cocky like his brother could be, but he knew that he was a strong soldier and had been trained well. He could not take on an entire pack, but he could at least try to help. Besides, what else did he have going for him?
