Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

There is an assured cockiness to Matianak that rubs him the wrong way, quite possibly because they are alike in such a regard and two creatures so alike have a hard time co-existing. Still, he must learn patience and diffidence at least so he refrains from his instinctive desire to push her down to the sand and demand obedience. One sister was enough. For now. She is coy with her words, a sort of malicious enjoyment as she speaks that he often mirrors and his ears flick back at her words before a slow grin burgeoned across his maw. “You could try, but I would warn that she has begun her training. You might not find her an easy mark,” he says cryptically. It is actually quite an idea - to pit Mat against Nat. It would serve as a lesson for his silver sister and for him to judge her training impartially. “In fact, I would rather enjoy seeing you fight with her, if only to judge her training.” Was Matianak and blood thirsty as him? His gives her a quizzical look, as if to say he would be disappointed if she declined.

But then she has to go talking about the Shade and his look turns into one of mocking derision. The Shade was a phantom conjured on the madness that twinkled in the eyes of Underidge and Now was some phantom stuck to Umbra and Matianak. Yet she talks as if she is convinced and he has to admit, his father had done a good job with his brainwashing. “If that is what you believe, sister,” he says dismissively with a shrug. “I want to kill Underidge not because of any Shade but simply because he is a gnat, constantly buzzing and irritating. A pest in need of extermination.” Now he grins, wickedly, tongue washing across his lips. “Still, he is the lesser of the ones who I want dead. Your sister ranks much higher with her interfering attitude. Tell me, was she as bossy with you when your mother lie sickly in that den?” Now he begins to twist and scheme, asking her openly as if they are comrades and the best of friends, testing her boundaries and the relationship she had with her litter mate.
