Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

then we'll lie, cheat, steal and murder everything
lucian - demon - of age - no home - no heart
we have dark, tarred souls underneath

Everything is a blur as the obsidian demon forces his eyelids open. His cranium is pounding, the ringing from the prior explosion still present and persistent within his auds. His crimson spheres narrow, the sunlight momentarily blinding as they try to adjust to the sudden light. Finally, they can open completely, although Lucian’s vision wavers as he tries desperately to focus in on his surroundings. Finally, he seems to regain his composure, and he pulls himself slowly to his pads. He doesn’t remember anything. It was just a flash… colors... and then he was gone, consumed in total darkness.

But now his head hurt so damn bad, the pressure building and intensifying with every step the beast took. Every movement he made. He was nearly blinded again by these intense sensations, the throbbing of his crown strengthening and sending small and sharp pains throughout the rest of his frame. What had happened to him? What about the other wolf, the one he had been trying to call out to? The silhouette of the stranger was nowhere in sight.

Pain-filled groans leaked from his maw, his footing careful and paced cautiously to try and minimize the ache that took over him. Why was he in so much agony? Sure, the noise had been loud… but it certainly could not have been loud enough to cause a migraine of this extent. Red hues squinted, begging for the release of being shut, as the simple visuals of the land complicated his problem even further. After some time, the onyx beast made it out of the shelter of the pines, and that is when he noticed it. His shadow. But… What is that? What the hell was on his head?! Crimson spheres widened in shock, and Lucian drops his massive frame onto his haunches, his paws reaching up and swiping towards his cranium until they meet with the two hard objects. Lucian struggles to hold back the whimper that follows as the pressure increases, a deep throb shooting through him in response to the impact. Whatever they were, they were attached stubbornly onto his heavy crown.

"if you don't want to dwell in the light, then dwell in the shadows with me."
