PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

let me be brave

Klara did not duck with shyness as her aunt pointed out how big she’d grown – instead the filly puffed out her chest and lifted her head high, a smile worn bold across her mouth. “She’s certainly my daughter,” Oswin remarked with fondness in her tone at Klara’s stance, her eyes sliding back toward Vita Nova and the beautiful baby girl at her side. Her niece. It warmed Oswin’s heart to think from such wretchedness Koray had been, two beautiful girls had come into this world because of him.

Klara smiled broadly at Vita Nova, reaching out to tap her aunt’s cheek with her muzzle before Nova could introduce her daughter. All eyes were drawn to Nyah. Klara took an inquisitive step forward, her ears perked and her blue eyes bright. “Hello!” She said with a wide, happy smile. The Peak was filled with foals and Klara was thus no stranger to greeting those she didn’t yet know. “I’m Klara!” They’d already said her name, but Klara would much rather introduce herself.

Nova’s suggestion for them to play in the meadow was met with an excitedly wide smile and a bounce as Klara trotted in place. “Oh yay! Come on Nyah! I’ll show you the best spots in the meadow!” Oswin smiled as her daughter bounced off, filled with all the energy she had had at her age, too. She remembered how wild she’d driven the members of the Prairie with her foalhood antics and her insatiable need to run about and play a multitude of games.

While the girls bonded, Oswin looked to Nova. It was nice to have this moment with her without the girls privy to potential conversations they were still too young to hear. “Yeah, it’s really gorgeous over here. Someday I can take you up to the top of the Peak, on a clear day you can see across the island.” Oswin said with obvious love for the Peak warm in her tone. “Great, actually. I kicked the Lagoon boss’s ass a few seasons back.” Oswin’s smile split wide over her mouth, clearly pleased with herself. “But I’m itching for another fight. It’s been interesting learning how to balance being a mother with my duties here.” Oswin had been slacking in her duties as General, but being a first-time mother was a job she hadn’t quite been prepared for.

“Speaking of wanting to kick some ass,” she said with a lofty tone, blue eyes back on her sister, “how’s everything in the Inlet? Is Orkaan treating you and Nyah fairly?”

oswin
this is as brave as I know how to be.
I know it’s gonna hurt you, but please… be a little proud of me.

(ooc: lmfao I just remembered Oswin doesn't know Nyah isn't Koray's whoops)
