Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Arturio had no qualms coming between anyone that caused any semblance of hardship, be it physical or emotional, on those he called friend. Imprints or not, Thorne's behavior was unacceptable. The white male did not rely on his size as a deterrent. Granted, it did act as such for some, his gut told him it would not for Thorne. He clearly did not see eye to eye with the boy in terms of how one acted around their imprint. Arturio did not act towards Nari the way Thorne did to Azariah. A flash of fangs was imminent, that much he was certain of. He did not have a chance to speak, even as Azariah had spoke, there it was.

If she didn't want her imprint, he would do what he could to keep that in check. Regardless of how things went here, Arturio would definitely be asking for an audience with Eden in the very near future. The white male's immediate response was to drop his head and step back, not in retreat, but in defense. The fangs certainly made contact, even with Azariah's involvement, with the top of his skull and towards his right ear, and even it was not unscathed. The rush of adrenaline from the sudden outburst had him focusing more on survival. In close quarters, his size was not always advantageous, but with his head low and Azariah trying to pull Thorne away, Arturio lunged forward in that same blink of an eye, going for the younger male's right foreleg above the elbow, being mindful of his friend's position as well, to grab and pull. He was not considering going for the kill. He just wanted Thorne off balance with enough of an injury to not press his luck any further given the current situation.

Arturio had not planned for any venture within Glorall to end in blood shed, but this boy had brought it upon himself. True, the white male was here on a bit of an extended invitation, but he was going to help a friend, even within pack territory. Perhaps a lesson would finally be learned here today.
