Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

He was ignoring her, right? Or rather, he had been trying to. Eto did not like that - no, not at all. In fact, it bothered her despite her best efforts to believe otherwise. She had always been left alone but never truly ignored. It made her squirm in her skin, unable to fathom just why he did not wish to look at her. So, she clambered forward further and further, closer and closer, allowing a low whine to escape her as he suddenly leapt away. That whine, however, had fast become a low laughter as her eyes widened in surprise and awe. He hadn't been ignoring her. No, he must have been leaving her to wait for such a funny display. That had to be it, right?

It was quite the display too! His absurdity might have sent her fleeing in the past but now she only watched in amusement as she rolled onto her back with her mouth agape in a soft 'o'; he cried, he backed up, he dove his head right into the water...she had never seen anything like it. It fascinated her to the point of giggles as he finally drifted further into the water.

At the sound of his voice, she flipped over immediately and back onto her stomach. She scrambled forward once again, all toothy grin and waving tail as her eyes fixated on him despite their distance. "Amazing!" She giggled again, an absurdly child-like noise from one of her size. "Did you mean to do all that?" She skimmed closer to the water, her nose dipping in before she too blew bubbles with glee. As much as her face was full of joy, her eyes never once left his. Submission meant little to her if only because she had always been the one doing it.

She was tempted to slip into the water with him but refrained, satisfied to push her paws forward and into the water with her nose still poking out. She had never seen real fun before...was this it? Whatever it was, it had made her chest flutter. Maybe she had found a cure for the day!
