Perhaps changed most of all out of all of the packs is this place. It was stripped out of its forested home and now instead lays at the edge of an ocean. The vast sparkling eternity of the water lays to the south of the land, while the rest of the land is made of rocky outjuttings. Gone are the trees, and all that remains for greenery are the short shrubs that dot the paths in the rock, and the moss that grows thanks to the spray of the waves. Further toward the shore, barnacles are a plenty, and look to cut the pads of those who slip on the wet surface. These extend out into the water itself, and the tough land has multiple caverns scraped into it, providing ample dens for the wolves that live there. Depending on the tide, however, the lower caverns may flood, and the vicious swirling water may prove to be dangerous as there is a strong undertide ready to pull unsuspecting swimmers to their doom. Even the tide itself is powerful enough to push intruders against one cliff or another. The ocean does provide, however, plenty of food for those who brave the waters - there are many breeds of seals and sea lions, though the males that protect each of these are vicious and territorial. There are also turtles that come ashore to breed and to lay their eggs - both the adults and the eggs themselves can provide sustenance to the wolves. But they must take care - the water is deep enough to allow sharks to come to shore from the depths below. Those unwilling to venture the waves or wet their paws with the moist sand of the shore can find snakes and hares in the rocky outcroppings, but they must beware the Komodo dragon and other monitor lizards that perch upon the shore - they are swift and move in groups, not to mention they carry venom in their bite that causes immense pain, paralysis, and prevents blood clotting. This is not the land for the weak of heart or the weak at all really. This is Uyaraut - ‘The Diamond in the Rough’.

I’m Not the Devil, But I Won’t Be Your Hero

”I Can Bleed if I Want to Bleed; ”I Can Feel if I Feel the Need

When the unborn female became conscious of her own world she didn’t realize how small it truly was. It was a warm and safe place, that slowly became smaller and smaller as her form grew larger and larger. She could feel the presence of other forms around her, sometimes pushing against her cradle of warmth and comfort. Her siblings were going through the same changes she was, their small worlds becoming even smaller with each passing day. She never had any pain or fear of any kind though, not knowing that soon her world would change entirely. She could only assume that this was what life was, in this warm ball of comfort and security. Even though her world seemed to drastically become smaller and smaller at a faster and faster rate, she wasn’t worried. Surely her world would not entirely shrink.

But suddenly one day, her world changed more than she ever expected. There was tremendous pressure surrounding her, more so than she had ever felt before. Missandei tried to wiggle and squirm away from the building pressure, but there was no more room. Her and the other pups had grown too large to live within their current home, and it was time for them to experience a different and bigger and more permanent world. Fear of what was happening consumed her, and instead of trying to escape it anymore, she froze, keeping her body still and hoping that the pressure would go away and everything would go away. Instead, she felt an even stronger pressure until it finally broke and she felt the coldness of the real world. The pup shivered and whimpered until she felt the warm and comforting tongue of her mother. Even though she could not see, she knew what she had to do and followed her instincts. Her small form wiggled through the den, feeling the warmth of her mother and her other siblings that had already been born as she made the journey. Finally she felt the mammary glands, warm and full of milk. Her mouth grasped out, searching until she was able to grasp hold, sucking for the life and protection of Macaria’s colostrum. She had no idea of the difficult birth that had occurred, and how Macaria’s life was ebbing away. The young pup knew nothing except the delicious taste of the milk, and how sleepy she was growing. When she had had her fill, she laid her head down and fell asleep.
