Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Asriel was starting to find his way around the lands a little easier now. Winter had come and he spent the last few seasons finding himself a den and settling into the lands. Soon he would need to start on doing something to get the information he wanted, needed, and to confirm something about himself while also learning about his father and the world around him. He had been doing some odd stuff on his own time. Trying to form himself to be something, good, so that everyone didn’t think he was just brooding all the time. He tried to remember how he was in the past. Happy, cheerful, bouncy. It was hard to actually feel those types of things anymore, he had grown a lot and not all in the a good way, jading him as he molded into something older. But perhaps he could make something of his past, who he had been around and such later.

He tucked the thoughts into his mind for a moment, distracted by a feeling in his chest. Her… He knew it was her she was the only one who stirred something like that in him. Nothing really emotional, just a feeling he couldn’t describe. It wasn’t love, it was just their bond. Soon enough he heard her voice come up to him. She drew herself to his side and his copper eyes went to her own pale orbs. ”Should they be treating me badly? Or giving me trouble?” He questioned raising a brow somewhat, or perhaps it was just a general statement. Most the wolves here seemed to leave well enough alone with others that he could tell so far, it was quite a difference when coming from the home of the most friendly, helpful wolves he could think of. A welcome change too for now.

The young wolf was curious though, she had been born and raised her after all she would certainly know more of the natives and the land. His father’s statement that not many knew him made him curious, and he wondered if every pack brought in wolves that were similar to their alpha. Despite being imprints after all there was very little he knew about Matianak, and very little she knew about him as well. The most she would have gained was from that second meeting she she might have deduced that Eden was his father. One thing was for sure though, that didn't’ feel like anything special. Hardly. Asriel had crept around enough now to see he had… many more siblings than he had originally thought. ”What have you been doing?” He questioned then, knowing this simply couldn’t be a check up. He was learning everyone seemed to have a reason a purpose, for doing something.
