Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

where to go from here Open

He found himself wandering into the fields, not sure which direction he was supposed to go. The boy who smelled like Enderly told him that his father was dead. He didn't know what that meant for now, but he was somehow sure that he wasn't supposed to leave Moladian. He needed to be here; he just wasn't sure why. The boy who smelled like Enderly said he was his son. So did that make them brothers. Perhaps in a way, but Loki had only ever thought of Silas as his brother. He couldn't find him. Perhaps he died. Death seemed to be finding members of their family. He didn't know what happened to Eris, if she wandered off or died. Enderly was dead. Silas was gone or dead. He wondered what happened to the son Enderly always talked about that was crazy, off his hinges. Was he still alive? Maybe Enderly had killed him. Maybe he had killed Enderly. Wouldn't that be something?

He could smell Diveen from here but he wasn't sure that was where he wanted to go anymore. If Enderly wasn't there then why waste the energy? He needed another link. The boy was a weak link because he tied him to Enderly but not Eris. Loki needed someone older, someone more linked to Enderly than just recent after his loss of Eris. Someone who would know more about the past and after Loki left Moladian. Somehow it seemed important. His paws carried him past the trees that smelled of Diveen. He knew it was in that direction but he didn't turn, just kept walking straight. He smelled water soon enough and then his paws were walking on squishy sand. He glanced down and scowled in thought but kept walking. He could make out other wolves by the water, talking and playing in the water.

He sat down on the banks, curling his tail around him as he stared at them. Some might say he looked like he had a yearning look on his face but if you looked closer, you would see the lack of emotion in his gaze, the distant detached look of someone who didn't feel much of anything. He simply watched the other wolves, not sure where he should go from here and what his next task in life was.
